The Hendricks County Solid Waste Management District has developed an Environmental Education Award to recognize individuals whose work in the community furthers the mission of the District. That mission is to promote recycling, waste reduction and responsible waste management within Hendricks County.
The District is proud to present the award to Jen Davies and Carol Ford of the Outdoor Learning Center at Avon Community Schools. Their combined efforts have provided thousands of children hands on environmental education. We applaud their efforts and dedication!
